I forgot to mention that I saw the film Pieces of April. I
enjoyed it. It could have used a better sound track or score. It is
disturbingly quiet at many points, but other than that I highly
recommend it.
Today I had too damn many meetings. I met John Towns from NCSA who is
here to give RCS some pointers on managing a large research computing
site. I met with Katy which was good as always. Today I introduced her
to Chris (Willmore). I think he will work out well for her. She will
get some continuity in her programming work, and Chris will get a good
summer job working for an excellent professor.
After all the meetings I headed back to the office. I think my ip
reassembly routine works now. It needs some more testing and then
needs to be integrated into XINU (I am currently testing it in a
standalone application). I probably wont have it ready for our cs636
meeting tomorrow, but I will certainly have it by Monday. Ever since I
finished that I have been having a hard time finishing my notes for
cs490-dsp.
Apparently a car crashed into the Discount Den last night. This is
fortuitous for me (but probably not for the driver or the denizens
of the Discount Den) because a friend that I went to highschool with
(kinda) was hosting pictures of the event. As a result I discovered
that Mr. Chobaney not only has a website, but also a blog. Heh, ask him
about our time together working tech support for the Anderson
Community School System sometime. That is one hell of a story.
