22:10:48 Monday February 28 2005 Update time:
Wednesday a whole mess of us got together and prepared Terry's
Stir-Fry of Death. This was particularly enjoyable because it has
been quite a long time since we have gathered and prepared
food.
Also on Wednesday I was the subject of a follow up story in the Purdue Exponent. It must have been the slowest news week in history. Now that I kinda sorta have a contact at the Exponent I may find that I receive more publicity when I release my next subversive project later this year. On Saturday Chris, Sara, and I decided (rather capriciously) to build a kite. We spent most of the afternoon acquiring raw materials and doing preparatory tasks. When dinner time rolled around we joined up with John and Cretia for a trip to Scotty's. The wait there proved interminable. By the time it did terminate, Scott (no relation) had finished work and joined us. After much needed food and a few beers we dropped Chris off at his apartment and headed over to Luxie's. Luxie's was no longer the quiet, unknown bar I remembered. It was overrun with humans and generally unpleasant. We quickly gave up and returned to Casa de Noland. Sunday (yesterday) we finished our kite. It is wonderful. Pester me for photos if I forget. Tetrahedra are awesome. After the kite was finished John joined us and we watched a little P&T Bullshit. Today, while largely uneventful is Chris's birthday. Glück Geburtstag Chris. |
