This weekend marked the end of an era as the very talented Josette Torres took her leave of Lafayette for the opportunities that await her as a graduate student at VA Tech. She is to be congratulated on her graduation, and I know I am not alone in wishing her the best of luck in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Other recent events include the first annual Glenwood Heights summer block party; a trip to the Melting Pot with Brad and Liz; frying plantains with Chris and Chrissy; a viewing of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at IMA; and watching the Perseids out in the middle of nowhere north of Fowler, Indiana.
